In context with nottingham

We've got to start thinking about beards in context with Nottingham. I propose we start by placing the artifact (beards) in context with their location and situation. For example you're not going to find a trimmed goatee in an Orthodox Sikh temple, or you won't find many lawyers sporting fully grown farmers bushes. I'm sure rock city on a saturday night would give interesting results.

Maybe we should go to certain areas of the city and document its residing beard population, taking names and a bit of background if the participant is willing. Then perhaps display this research on a map of the city.

Influences could include photographers such as lee friendlander or Aaron Siskin, not for their capacity to photograph portraits. But rather we should look how they document everyday objects within their city environments

I can't believe how ridiculous this all sounds...
